We are Gary’s Automotive Repair. Our shop focuses on honest, reliable maintenance and repair.

Mechanically inclined from the start, Gary has loved working on cars as long as he can remember. For almost thirty years, he's been making engines drive smoothly on Arizona roads. He's invested in the community because it's his community. He's built a reputation among friends and family as the mechanic to go to.

Thirty years ago when he made the first steps to becoming the business owner he is today, he turned his passion for mechanics into a professional career by becoming a franchisee of a larger automotive company here in Arizona. But working for a franchise didn't sit well in his spirit. He wanted to serve his customers with a higher level of kindness and professionalism. He wanted the freedom to put customers first.

OUR STORY

HOW IT STARTED

So, fifteen years ago, he put himself in the driver's seat and made the decision to go out on his own to establish Gary’s Automotive Repair in Chandler.

He and his family have created long-term relationships and help in making Chandler a better place to live. Many of the people who walk through the doors of Gary's Automotive are friends, neighbors, and fellow parents. Over the years, Gary’s Automotive has supported and partnered with local organizations to give back to the community in consistent ways.

Among the causes close to the family's heart is the Chandler Girls Softball League, where his daughters participated competitively. Every team member has to work together to succeed, just as every mechanic in the shop does to effectively help community members get back on the road.

From routine service to essential mechanical work, the team is committed to doing the job right the first time. They stand by their quotes, provide fair pricing, and believe that if a repair isn’t completed correctly, the customer shouldn’t pay for it.

That straightforward philosophy has carried the business through multiple economic cycles. Whether they're resolving an unexpected issue or honoring a 12-month or 12,000-mile promise, the team is always willing to work with customers.
